A FEW DETAILS
After 5 years in NYC as a yoga instructor and movement educator, I moved back to my home state of Colorado to pursue a master’s degree at Naropa University in Mental Health Counseling with the concentration in Body Psychotherapy.
My approach to teaching involves anatomical touch-points to guide practitioners toward a more intimate felt experience of their bodies. I focus on pathways and transitions between shapes as the context for getting clearer about how we make choices. In addition to being an E-RYT with 7 years of experience teaching yoga, I am a Certified Movement Analysis (CMA) through the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies. This certificate gives me additional frameworks to understand the dynamics of our bodies moving through space.
